Kosho Shorei Ryu Energy Medicine for Professionals

Kosho Shorei Ryu Energetic Medicine is a wonderful method of both addressing myriad symptoms in all realms of being, and cultivating holistic self-developmental wellness, capable of nourishing one's destiny. Kosho Shorei Shin Kai offers several alternatives for professionals to learn our medicine. Modalities include acupuncture, Chinese herbology, shiatsu, anma, wellness and self-developmental counseling, energy-cultivation exercises, meditation, and many other Asian medical methods, using both the Five Elemental Constitutional style and a Pre-Mao Eight-Principle tradition.

Comprehensive KSREM Practitioner Training Course
Starting in September, 2008, KSSK will be offering Licensed Acupuncturists, third-year Acupuncture schools students, MDs, and other qualified professionals a three-year course, with CEUs and certification, in Kosho Shorei Ryu Energy Medicine. See the licensing laws in your state for practice requirements. The schedule will include six weekends per year for three years. Three months of one weekend's training per month will alternate with three months off for deepening the understanding of what you have learned, and implementing it appropriately into your existing personal and professional practice. This schedule will repeat five more times over the three years. Graduates will be certified in Kosho Shorei Ryu Energy Medicine, and be listed as such on our web site.

KSREM Deshi Program
A 12-month weekly course as a Level I or II class. Level I is an introductory course for novices or health practitioners from other fields with an interest in authentic shiatsu and KSREM. Level II training is the larger body of training which prepares the practitioner for actual (Entry-level) solo practice., once they pass all requirements. With this nine-month course, students may qualify for Certification as an Entry-Level Practitioner. The Level II course will offer much deeper skill-development and application, reinforcement of theoretical and practical knowledge, and a wide range of adjunctive KSREM therapies, including Sawada Ryu Moxibustion and basic patent formula herbology. This second course will qualify graduates for Level II Apprentice, or Level I KSREM Practitioner Certification.

Seminars
LoPriore Sensei offers seminars periodically through-out the year which are designed to introduce laymen and practitioners to KSREM. These are usually on weekends, and cover a variety of specific topics. They are always applicable for beginners. Sensei has also offered specific, custom-designed seminars to meet the needs of various groups, such as student or graduate massage therapists, physical therapists, MDs, nurses, and others. Mini-seminars are offered on a monthly basis in the form of one- to two-and-a-half hour classes. These classes are only $10 per student, and are offered at no additional charge for Bushidokai students, as part of their ongoing education in Kosho Shorei Ryu. Many topics are covered, at various levels of skill, depending on the specific participants in class. This is a great, inexpensive way to get started learning about KSREM.

Private Lessons
Another great way to experience specific aspects of the widely-diverse topics of study within KSREM is to take private lessons with LoPriore Sensei. All aspects of these lessons, including topics, scheduled times, and frequency are up to the participant(s) and Sensei. A good way to start to experience the medicine is to become a patient first at ASOMNE, and let Sensei take you through the comprehensive initial consultation and Inner Tradition pulse diagnosis.
